Clone of Shore Volunteer 2026 Registration Form
  • Shore Volunteer Registration

C.A.S.T. for Kids Veterans Park - Saturday, 07/11/2026 - Hanceville, Alabama
  • Anyone with a heart to serve children with special needs is invited to volunteer! On average, volunteers serve 6 hours the day of the event. Shore Volunteers are needed to assist with registration, photos, fishing with children, serving lunch, celebrating the children, and more!

Although fishing experience is not required for every volunteer position, we do need some Shore Volunteers to be hands on with fish, bait, hooks and tackle while providing basic fishing knowledge to children and their guests. Fishing experience is helpful for these positions during shore fishing events. These Shore Volunteers work one one one with a child and their guests to catch a special thrill. Proper fish handling, species identification, hands-on assistance, patience, an open mind and being able to provide positive reinforcement (and maybe a little celebration!) is required.

Registration is required for all volunteers. This registration form is only for ONE volunteer age 18 and over or ONE volunteer 17 and under submitted by a parent or guardian. Each volunteer MUST complete a separate registration form. Minor volunteers 13-17 years of age must have this registration form completed by parent/guardian. Our 13–15 year-old volunteers must have either a parent or guardian on site. We ask that all volunteers’ children aged 12 and under stay at home so that our volunteers can give their undivided attention to our event participants. No third-party registrations are allowed. Contact the Event Coordinator with any questions.

Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. Check your spam folder if your confirmation is not seen in your inbox. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation emails and texts event details and reminders within 2 weeks of event date. If you register the week of the event, you will need to contact the Event Coordinator for event details. Registrations can be canceled by emailing the Event Coordinator.

Thank you for joining us in providing a joy-filled fishing experience to children with special needs in your community!
